Piggy's Onsu Skybox
Welcome to my blog!! Today I will be featuring certain parts of my Onsu Skybox in Second Life.
My bedroom was inspired by my love of all things pink, plants, different, dust bunny and girly. Mixed in with a bit of Halloween decor that looked pretty but not clashing with the rest of the furniture in my skybox! I wanted to make something unique and personal.
Next up we have my hallway. Inspired by all things animal and tropical. I'm a lover of animals and pretty things. The dust bunny plants and the parrots remind me a lot of my Florida holidays. The cats represent the two rascals I have at home :)
With this particular piece I wanted to represent the unusual yet unexpecting side of my heritage. As well as being of British stock through the generations dating back to at least the 1300s - 1400s, I was surprised to see Middle Eastern in my background. My DNA has since been updated and that Middle Eastern has now turned into Egyptian!! I suspect that this might have to do with the Barbary pirate incident that happened on Britain's coastal communities such as Devon & Cornwall (where a lot of my relatives are from). I think I am actually embracing this bit of exoticism in me by the poster on my wall in the same room!
The coastal community behind, with the airplane representing the army life of my coastal relatives and the stars representing the Middle Eastern culture as well as the stars in the sky.
I have other images of my house and how it has been designed... but these images represent my unique pieces within my house that have added a 'me' touch too it...
